Thanks to the promotional efforts of the team at Frostwire, our debut EP is being shared by more people globally than the entire back catalogue of The Beatles or Metallica, is running neck and neck with the entire discography of Radiohead and is a good 30 or 40 positions above the collected works of The Stones and U2.
We are the only independent / unsigned artist anywhere NEAR the top 100. To break into the top 20 is something else.
The ramifications of this are as yet unknown. We’ll have more details on just how many downloads this translates into over the next few days.
The torrent went up onto Pirate Bay on Wednesday 14th January 2009. We broke the Pirate Bay top 20 in the early hours of Sunday morning 18th January.

Dec02'Would Love To Meet' is OurStage finalist
The video for our song ‘Would Love To Meet’ won the rock category on the OurStage.com music site for November beating over 350 videos to the top slot. Our video, which cost around 200 pounds to make (most of that being spent on silly wigs and glasses) beat all the others despite most of the competition having professional productions costing thousands of dollars. What is more surprising is that we won on what is a particularly US-centric site where (until now) we didn’t think we had a fan base! Well we do now.

Oct27Georgia Wonder @ American Embassy London UK
We are very proud to be invited to play at the American embassy in London on election night! Of all the places in the world to be that night - this is one of them. We’re lucky enough to be playing alongside Glenn Tillbrook (formerly of Squeeze) and The Men They Couldn’t Hang. It will certainly go down in history as the latest gig we’ve ever played as the final results aren’t in till 4am..

Sep10Unpeeled Review
The fabulously underground and interesting music site Unpeeled gave us a nice review of our EP calling it ‘A torch ballad, the kind of thing that Madonna was once mistress of, a slowly writhing python of a song.’ and also when asked if it was any good, simply replying ‘Yes it is’. You can see it on their White Label page until they take it down - which knowing how rock and roll they are, could be whenever they like, so don’t blame us if it’s not there any more.

Sep10We7 Featured Interview
This week we were invited to the offices of We7 (a download site backed by Peter Gabriel) to have a look around and to share a few thoughts. The folks there were very lovely and have posted up an interview with us as well as a feature on the front page for this week - thanks guys!
Sep02Musical Discoveries 5 Star Rating
We’ve had one of our first reviews in from our Hello Stranger EP and we’re pleased to say it’s a good one! Posted on the US-centric website ‘Musical Discoveries’ it goes into a bit of detail about what’s on the EP and gives us a definite thumbs up. Nice to know that the yanks dig what we’re doing!

Aug29Record Of The Day!
Today our song ‘Girl You Never Knew’ became Record Of The Day on the website of the same name. ROTD is a website devoted to finding upcoming hits and is read by lots of important people in ‘the biz’ so getting a resounding thumbs-up from those guys is very exciting!
